History of the Russian famine of 1921-1922.

This is a photo of a boy from a village in Ukraine who killed his 3-year-old brother and ate him from hunger. His name is Ilarion Nyshchenko.

This was an event of the Russian famine of 1921-1922.

The image below is of a hungry family during the Madras famine in 1876.

Now imagine if you were born in these places during this era and you were one of those unlucky ones.

We are born in an era that is the most developed era in human history. We have the amount of comfort and convenience that no other generation in human history has ever experienced.

Sometimes, in our greed for more, we forget to be grateful for the things we have in our lives. We have food on our plates and a roof over our heads, which is still a dream for some people. Instead of feeling blessed for what we have, we lament that we don't have much in our lives.

So my friend instead of feeling bad for being alone, feel grateful for what you have and try to help as many people as you can in any way you can. Helping others will give you inner happiness and joy that no relationship can give you.

No matter what your situation is, just smile, be happy and say I can get through this.

Thank you for reading. ❤️
