POUND, Washington - A Man has been arrested after a stabbing womanin Wise County.
Sheriff's deputies were called to the 8000 block of Main Street in Pound after a report of a woman bleeding and screaming for help. Deputies found the woman and found she had been stabbed several times.
The woman was taken to a local medical center and is said to be recovering from her injuries.

He is being held at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail in Duffield.
After an investigation, deputies arrested Kerry Winn of Pound for aggravated assault and attempted second-degree murder.
